ICC’s Summer Arts & Recreation Program is a 7 Week Program aimed at continuing our After-School Program and minimizing “summer learning loss”. It operates at ICC Community Center at 432 Lafayette Street for 80-90 children and includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Similar to the After-School program, Summer Arts & Recreation enhances academic achievement and student growth through fun activities including visual and performing arts, community projects, field trips, and sports. Past summer camps have included leadership development activities provided by the Red Bulls, student produced shows and concerts, and a Super Storm Sandy study and resiliency project.
When parents drop off their children, they can go to work knowing their kids are receiving a fun and quality experience with ICC’s dynamic staff who are dedicated to motivating them to play, create, and learn.
