We’re seeking volunteer professionals to join our Health & Safety Advocacy Committee, helping ensure the well-being of the children and families we serve through expert guidance, policy review, and community advocacy.

About Our Early Learning Center Head Start Program
Ironbound Early Learning Center programs serve children from birth to age 5 and their families. Our comprehensive approach focuses on early learning, health, and family well-being while encouraging parents to be their children’s first and most important teachers. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that supports the holistic development of every child.
Who We’re Looking For
Professionals in:
- Healthcare or Public Health
- Mental Health & Social Work
- Fire Safety or Emergency Management
- Environmental Health or Nutrition
- Early Childhood Education
- Legal or Regulatory Compliance
Time Commitment
- 2 meetings per year (1–2 hours each)
- Occasional document review or consultation (1–2 hours between meetings)
- 1-year minimum commitment, renewable
