Tina Weishaus
April 21, 1951 – May 28, 2025

Tina Weishaus, a beloved activist, organizer, and climate justice leader, passed away peacefully on May 28 at the age of 74. A longtime friend and environmental justice advocate of Ironbound Community Corporation, Tina’s deep commitment to justice and equity will remain with us always—a powerful reminder to never stop advocating for what you believe in.

Tina was a nurse, psychotherapist, community leader, and co-founder of DivestNJ. She led with compassion, humor, and fierce determination, dedicating her life to the struggles for peace, climate action, and human rights.  Read Full Obituary
